Old enough to not be amused by overly complex systems,
I keep an eye out for programming languages that inspire and not deaden the programmer.
In the 90's I taught myself to program in C and C++ and then completed an Masters in CS at University of Southern Maine. I have been coding ever since, professionally along with some fun side-projects. Learning the gamut of programming languages has been a fun adventure.
We are in a good place with regard to Web Development, but it sure took too long to get here. Don't rush, I mean, we might be behind schedule, but don't overlook the good ideas that may have come before their time.
